All Irish Water Spaniels need not be active in judged sports! Many Irish Water Spaniels do their best work being beloved companion animals. They are incredibly sensitive animals and make excellent therapy dogs. Some have even had success as service dogs in Europe, although they are often too enthusiastic for life to be a stoic assistance animal. With proper training, these beasts can be partners who will travel well with you in the car and everywhere else.
